CAP National Headquarters does not have a historian on staff that maintains unit histories or provides research of unit or wing histories. This web page offers information gathered by the MDWG Historian that may be of interest to MDWG members.
All members of the Wing are asked to consider donating CAP items (pins, patches, uniforms, manuals, books, photos, etc.) they have personally collected over the years for the MDWG Historical Collection, which will be available to members for research, study, and possible display. Any items accepted for the MDWG Historical Collection will be acknowledged by an official MDWG Deed of Gift. If the owner of photos or news clippings would prefer to keep the originals, we will be able to scan them and return the originals. Any questions, please contact the MDWG Historian as listed in the MDWG Directory.
See side bar for links to a comprehensive listing of all MDWG Commanders, Drill and Color Guard awards, and winners of the PAO of The Year award.
